Rajouri, June 19 : Five individuals have been detained in relation to a murder case stemming from a land dispute in Thanamandi, Rajouri district. According to sources, the wife of the deceased, Shafiq Ahmed from Sora Pul Thanamandi, has accused several villagers and PRIs of murdering her husband over the land dispute. The police have taken notice of the situation and filed an FIR (82/2023), leading to the detention of the five individuals. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Thanamandi confirmed the detentions and mentioned that further investigations are ongoing.
