Srinagar, June 15 : In a distressing incident, a teacher from a private school in Srinagar has been apprehended for his alleged involvement in the sexual assault of two female students. The accused, identified as Satar Beigh, aged 42, hailing from Gurez in the Bandipora district of North Kashmir, was taken into custody on Wednesday. Beigh, who teaches Arabic at the Holy Faith school located in Rawalpora, stands accused of molesting and sexually assaulting two students enrolled in Classes 4 and 5. Authorities have registered a case against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Further investigations are underway to gather evidence and ensure justice for the victims.
