Srinagar, Aug 20: A 25-year-old girl died due to drowning in a power canal at Gutlibagh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district late Friday evening.
The body of the girl identified as Shagufta was retrieved from power canal by SDRF team late last night after hectic efforts, news agency KNO reported.
A pall of gloom descended over the village due to the incident.
