Ladakh, June 07 : In a devastating incident near Kharboo in the Kargil district of Ladakh, a woman and her five-year-old child were washed away by the strong currents of the river. The Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) in Ladakh reported that the search operation resulted in the recovery of the woman’s body at Kaksar. However, the child’s body remains untraceable, and efforts are ongoing to locate the missing child. The rescue operation was promptly launched after the mother and child were drowned in the Shingo Drass river.
