New Delhi, May 30 : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, during his visit to the US, launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led government in the Centre. Speaking at an event titled ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’ in San Francisco, he expressed the need for his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ due to the control exerted over political instruments by the BJP and RSS. Rahul Gandhi stated that the march aimed to connect with the people and address the threats and misuse of agencies. Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Modi, he criticized certain groups in India for thinking they know everything, even suggesting they would explain the workings of the universe to God. Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of attempting to hinder his foot march but emphasized the overwhelming support received from the people of India. He underscored the importance of unity, respect, and affection among Indians, highlighting the country’s tradition of embracing diverse ideas.
