Srinagar, May 17 : In a tragic incident, a CRPF jawan reportedly took his own life in Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir. The deceased, identified as Constable Yogesh Ashok Birhade from Maharashtra, allegedly shot himself with his service rifle at JIC Awantipora in Pulwama. According to officials, Birhade was on sentry duty when he resorted to this extreme step. The incident has left the security forces and authorities deeply saddened. Investigations are underway to determine the motive behind this unfortunate incident.
