IS NC AND AZAD WORKING IN ALLIANCE?
In a surprising turn of events, Sr. Provincial Vice President of the Youth National Conference (NC), Gourav Kapoor, was spotted attending a joining program of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party at the residence of its founder, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The development has raised questions about whether the NC and Azad’s party are working in alliance for the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Some sources suggest that Kapoor’s presence at the event may indicate that Farooq Abdullah and Ghulam Nabi Azad are on the same page when it comes to contesting the elections together.
On the other hand, there are speculations that Kapoor may be planning to switch camps and join Azad’s party, especially given his prominent position in the NC.
When contacted for a statement, neither the NC nor Azad’s party provided any clarification on the matter. However, insiders claim that talks are indeed underway between the two parties for a possible alliance.
The upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir are crucial for all parties involved, with many expecting a tight contest between the ruling BJP and the opposition parties. An alliance between the NC and Azad’s party could significantly impact the political landscape of the state and potentially influence the outcome of the elections.
