Jammu, 26th April: Jammu Kashmir Joint Association of Career Counselors held their meeting today at Jammu. The meeting was attended by scores of career counsellors working in Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting the career counselors of Jammu Kashmir elected their 1st General Body today.
In the elections held today Kulbir Singh was elected as President, Rumit Gupta as General Secretary, Dinesh Kala as Vice President and Aman Bhatti as Secretary. The elected members in their address thanked all members of association for posing their faith in them. They assured everyone that they will work dedicatedly for the welfare of Career Counsellors of Jammu Kashmir.
Addressing further they said that the association will work as a bridge between the students and Institutes. They said that the association will also work against the institutes involving unfair and illegal practices in this noble trade. They said the association will be soon registered under society’s act and will work in collaboration with the Government of J&K for the betterment of students and career counsellors. They said the association will organise a series of career counseling sessions for students of far flung areas.
Those who were present in the meeting are Sanjay Lamba, Suresh Kumar, Sidharth Singh, Sourav Mahajan, Manjit Singh, Aman Sharma, Arvind Upadhyay, Atul Sudan, Diksha, Verinder Singh etc.
