Active Covid Cases in India Decrease to 63,380 with 6,660 New Infections

New Delhi, Apr 25: India records 6,660 new COVID-19 cases; active cases decline to 63,380. India has reported 6,660 new coronavirus infections, bringing down the total active cases to 63,380, according to the Union Health Ministry. The death toll has increased to 5,31,369 with 24 deaths, including nine reconciled by Kerala. The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 3.52 percent, while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 5.42 percent. The total COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 4.49 crore. The national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.67 percent, and 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
