Jammu, 25th March: On the eve of International day of happiness NGO “Hum Saath Saath Hain” and Indian Army paid their visit to Old Age home Akhnoor to spend some time with the inhabitants and distributed some items among them.
Speaking on the occasion Monu Verma Chairman “Hum Saath Saath Hain” said that It is sad to understand the fact that despite us as a country we are becoming super powers in the world but in reality are running away from our pillars our parents. Understanding the grief of modern day ignored parents and to help and support already ignored old people in Akhnoor we are an NGO “Hum Saath Saath hain” in support with Malpur Army unit providing necessary help to the poor and old inmates of Sewa samiti Old age home Akhnoor. The NGO and Army provided clothing to all the old inmates along with daily need items. The Samaritans also promised to help the old age facility in the future as well. The old people were very happy with such associations and afflictions.
The NGO members present during the programme are Ankush Choudhary, Parshotam Singh, Devinder Singh Bittu,Sanjeev Verma etc.
