In a statement Aam Aadmi Party Leader & Social activist Gurmeet Singh Baaghi said that Arvind Kejriwal is the hope of crores of people of the country. People want the Delhi model in every nook and corner of the country. People want quality electricity, education, water, and health. On the ground, people want solutions to their problems, people want solutions for their miseries. They are suffering from huge unemployment, insane amounts of inflation and price rise. They are looking for someone who can put money in their pocket and that is what the AAP is doing.There is an overwhelming sense and desire for change and as a result people are looking at the AAP with a lot of hope. They now believe that the AAP is the only real alternative in the country. AAP has been sitting in the Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi since 2015. Punjab is the second state after Delhi where the AAP has emerged victorious. AAP is not even 10 years old and have governments in Punjab and Delhi. AAP has emerged as a national political force. It took BJP ten years to form its first government in a state. It is not even ten years since AAP’s inception and forming government in two states.
The governments collect an insane amount of money from ordinary people in the form of taxes. Everything is taxed right from flour, curd to milk. It is public money. It goes to the government. It should be given back.The people of country want that the way Aam Aadmi Party worked in Delhi for electricity, water, education, health, and employment, same should be done in whole country. Aam Aadmi Party is only Party who giving the basic amenities to live a life of dignity to the people of the Delhi and Punjab and saying that the people of the country have the basic rights for these amenities. Our constitution says that India is a welfare state. Electricity, water, education, health, and employment all these are the welfare schemes. When the chief ministers and ministers get these free, why not the ordinary people of the country?
