Jammu, Opposing the decision to impose property tax on city dwellers, Aam Aadmi Party’s Traders Wing Organization mantri Raj Kumar Goyal has said that this government is hell-bent on eliminating the poor. Every day, no stone is being left unturned to break the back of the common man by imposing new taxes. Ever since this government came to power, the bad days of the poor man have started. Only a few people have got good days. Today the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. In such a difficult time, when even food items have become beyond the reach of the common man, instead of providing relief to the people, the government is imposing taxes on them. Goyal said that the exorbitant increase in the prices of cooking gas cylinders, petrol-diesel, edible oil and all kinds of items has already reduced the food from the common man’s plate. Now the government is going to increase the difficulties of the people by imposing new tax. The Aam Aadmi Party strongly opposes the decision to impose property tax on the residents of the city. Aam Aadmi Party will fight to get this tax abolished to provide relief to the people.
